Purpose of BTC PoW Lab
BTC PoW Lab is an independent research project that studies Bitcoin Proof-of-Work, SHA-256, search structure, mining protocols, ASIC behavior and computational efficiency. It publishes hypotheses, methods, results and limitations for research and educational discussion.
Experimental information
Content may be incomplete, preliminary, corrected, invalidated or later superseded. Status labels describe the evidence available at publication time. Nothing on this site guarantees that a method is accurate, complete, secure, profitable, compatible with hardware or suitable for any particular use.
No mining or financial promise
BTC PoW Lab does not sell cloud mining, hashrate contracts or investment products. The laboratory operates and links to BTC PoW Lab Pool, an independent public Hybrid Solo pool with Stratum infrastructure. Participation does not guarantee hashrate, blocks, revenue, savings, returns or yield. Content is not financial, investment, tax, legal, cybersecurity or operational advice.
Your responsibility
You are responsible for independently reviewing, testing and validating any information, code, dataset or method before use. Do not deploy experimental techniques against production systems, mining equipment, networks or funds unless you understand and accept the technical, financial, safety and regulatory risks.
No warranty
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the site and its research materials are provided as-is and as-available, without express or implied warranties. Mandatory rights and liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded remain unaffected.
Third-party systems
References to Bitcoin, Ethereum, miners, pools, software, explorers, price feeds and other services do not imply affiliation or endorsement. Third-party availability, accuracy, fees, rules and security are outside BTC PoW Lab's control.
Donations
Contributions voluntarily support independent research costs. They are not purchases, investments, deposits or promises of access, influence, returns or tax deductibility. Blockchain transfers are generally irreversible. Verify the asset, network and complete address before sending.
On-chain counters
Public counters are estimates derived from third-party blockchain and market-data APIs. Historical received value may include transfers that are not verified donations; USD values use current spot prices rather than the price at the time of each transfer. These figures are transparency aids, not audited financial statements.
Responsible use
Do not use site materials to violate law, interfere with systems you do not own or have permission to test, bypass access controls, misrepresent research results or put people, equipment or funds at unreasonable risk.
